Why should I create a photo album?

Creating an online photo album is one of the easiest ways of sharing that special cake from you own wedding day with friends and others. Furthermore, wedding cake designers can advertise their own unique creations with their contact information. Simply upload your photos. You can also announce your album to friends and customers, and they can access it immediately.

Aside from sending direct links to your friends and family, you can even create mini albums for blogs and forums such as MySpace.

What type of photo album?

This web site is only for photos of wedding cakes and wedding cake toppers.

How do I get started?

It’s easy! First, register for free by giving your user name, password, and email address. Within seconds, you’ll be given an account.

How do I start a photo album?

On the bottom of the page, you will find a button that says "Create a New Album" beside a blank field. Type in the Name of your Album, and then click.

The next step is to find and upload your photos. Click "Browse" to search through your computer. (To make it easier for you to locate the photos, we advise that you pre-group the photos you like into a single folder.) Select the photos by clicking on the file name. 

If you want to label your photo album, click on the album name. You can also write a description of up to 120 words.

How many photos can I put in one album?

With the Wedding Cakes Photo Gallery you can put up to 10 photos in each album and you can make up to four albums. We are the only site that gives you this kind of bandwidth and storage capacity. 

How do I access my albums?

On the upper right hand corner of the page you will find a link, "My Albums". Click it, and you will be led to a list of all of the albums you have made.   Click on the one you want to work on, or start a completely new one. 

How do I share the albums with my friends?

Go to "My Albums" and find the album you are ready to share. On the right side you will see a small icon with two people. Click on it. A window will pop up, asking for the email addresses of your friends and family. Fill it in, press send, and they will immediately receive an invitation.

Will strangers be able to view my album?

Yes. As part of the VICTORIANA.COM web site, we are building a community with galleries for Victorian enthusiasts. A popular part of the site is the Victorian Wedding section and a gallery of wedding cakes is perfect for those looking for ideas for that special day.

Will people be able to change my album?

No. Because of your user name and password, only you can add and delete text or photos.  That is why it's important to keep that information safe.

How do I delete an album?

Go to "My Albums" and find the album you wish to delete. On the right side you will find a red button marked with an "x". Click on it. You will be asked to confirm your decision. Be careful, because you cannot undo this command.

How do I change my password or email?
